The Bamaga Senior Campus (or Bamaga Year 8 to Year 12 campus),  of the Northern Peninsula Area State College caters for the educational needs of students from the five communities of Bamaga, Injinoo, Umagico, New Mapoon and Seisia.

The campus is lead by a head of campus and there is a head of teaching and learning leader also based on the campus and a head of department catering for responsible behaviour management. The staff comprises about 12 teachers, teacher aides, and office staff with a student population of approximately 120 young people.

The Senior Campus is located in Bamaga opposite the Regional Hospital and next to the Sunwater water treatment facility. The campus site is on the side of a low hill and rises in elevation towards the rear. There is a sports oval at the front of the site and the campus is characterised by the many mature trees and tropical plantings around the buildings.

Many of the buildings were placed on the site in the 1970s and are of single storey elevated Queenslander style with wide covered balconies and linked by covered walkways - very necessary in the wet. The campus also has a number of concrete block buildings including the arts and music block, the engineering workshop, and the college administration building and resource centre.

In recent years the Queenslander style buildings have received major upgrades with all louvres in teaching spaces being replaced by sliding windows and each teaching space receiving split system airconditioners. This has meant a reduction in dust issues in the dry season and a classroom temperature more conducive to learning.

2012 saw the installation of two state of the art science laboratories and a Trade Training Centre which is used in conjunction with the neighbouring TAFE.

The campus office may be contacted on (07) 4090 4320.
