The Ama Mary Eseli Injinoo Kindy to Year Six campus (or Injinoo Junior Campus), of the Northern Peninsula Area State College caters for the educational needs of students from the two communities of Umagico (Alau) and Injinoo.

The campus is led by a Head of Campus who leads and manages other Classified Officers. The staff comprises about 10 teachers, teacher aides, and office staff with a student population of approximately 200 young people.

The campus is located on the banks of the Cowal Creek Estuary. Students are bused to school from the Umagiico community or walk from their Injinoo homes.Injinoo campus

The site is very picturesque and has seen much development and expansion in recent years. The original three buildings are of the wide balcony timber style connected by covered walkways. In 2006 the school had an additional two classrooms added in the modern style and in early 2010 a dedicated Pre-prep building and playground, an administration block and staff room, a dedicated library and resource centre, and two further classrooms were added and the playground area extended away from the creek bank. All teaching spaces have glass sliding windows and split system air conditioners.

The extension of the campus was enabled by the signing of the Indigenous Land Use Agreement in early 2009 which allowed the state to use the locally owned community land adjacent to the school. This was the first time such an agreement had been made between the Department of Education Training and Employment and an Indigenous community.

The campus office may be contacted by phone on (07) 4090 4888.
