Although students at high school level may undertake trade and vocational programs while still enrolled at the college, the Northern Peninsula Area State College also offers courses for individuals who have left school wishing to undertake training for specific vocations such as teaching.
The Remote Area Training and Educational Program (RATEP) is one such course for mature aged students.
