Enrolments at state schools occur continually throughout the year.

Enrolment process

  1. Please phone or visit the college administration office to request an enrolment information pack.
  2. Return the completed and signed enrolment form to the office.
  3. Make an appointment for an enrolment interview with the respective Head of Campus.

Bring to the interview

  • Student’s birth certificate.
  • Recent past report.
  • Any other information relating to student’s education needs (specialist reports e.g. speech language).
  • Non-Australian residents should present their passport to allow school staff to sight and photocopy their current visa of entry.

Also discussed at the enrolment interview

You may like to download the Department's enrolment form (PDF, 5.5MB) and have it ready and completed to hand in at the office.

Prep enrolment

Prep enrolment interviews are conducted in term 3 of the year prior to the commencement of prep. All children entering the prep year must have attained the age of 5 by 30 June in the year they enrol in prep. View Education Queensland’s prep ready reckoner calculator to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year.

Prep enrolments during the school year are treated the same as other year levels as above.

As the only college in the Cape York northern peninsula area you are entitled to enrol your child at the college if you are living in one of the five communities of the area.

You may wish to purchase a uniform for your child immediately and this can be done at the same time at the uniform shop in the same office. EFTPOS facilities are available. You may wish to check the current uniform price list.
