The main objective of the Northern Peninsula Area
State College P&C Association is to facilitate the development and further
improvement of the school, by walking together, talking together and winning as
one. Advocating parent participation,
encouraging close co-operation between parents, students and staff, through
promoting positive community support.
The P&C encourages parent/caregiver/guardian, families and community to take interest in all aspects of school and educational
matters.
The P&C tries to create better co-operation and
communication between:
- Parents/caregivers/guardians and their children
- Parents/caregivers/guardians of children
attending the school and staff
- Students and staff
- The P&C supports the school in dealing with issues that may arise.
- The P&C works with the school to:
- Increase and maintain student attendance
- Decrease negative student behaviour
- Manage and maintain an acceptable level of
study for better student grades.
The P&C works, in partnership with the Remote
School Attendance Strategy and the Ngurpai Ikama Ikya Council for Education, to
build a positive future for children.
