More than 25 local, regional and state stakeholders attended the second Bamaga Senior Campus Careers Fair and were welcomed with open arms to meet our staff, students and community. We are booking this onto our College calendar as an annual event!
The day started with breakfast and setting up stalls then the Spotlight on Careers talks by several special guest presenters who shared their career pathways and journey into their current employment and profession with our Year 10, 11 and 12 students. All of the stalls for open for business with our Year 5-12 students from 11.30am.
The College would like to thank all businesses who travelled to the NPA this week to attend our Careers Fair, your enthusiasm and commitment to our young people is phenomenal. Thank you to all of our local businesses and local council members for attending. Your support is so valuable in growing the dreams and aspirations of our young people in the NPA. Thank you to our Careers Fair Team led by Ms Anna Neynens, our Guidance Officer, after many weeks of meetings and planning, the event exceeded our expectations in 2024. We have networked and will be extending invitations to even more businesses for the 2025 event.
